As an educator and trainer in dementia care, I have extensive experience in the field through my work as a trainer for Dementia Friends, EnergizeCare, and the Dementia Care Institute. Jen is taking her commitment to care, training, and education one step further by allowing me to train and certify her staff in dementia awareness and education through the Dementia Care Institute Certified EnergizeCare Training Module. This training module is built upon the principles of the Dementia Connection Institute, Dementia Friends Ohio, my personal journey caring for my wife Lisa through Alzheimer's disease, and my experience leading my nonprofit organization, EnergizeCare, which provides respite care and support for care partners of individuals living with early to moderate Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
